To frame juridically, ethically and economically, the activities of the third sector and, in particular, of ecclesial organizations.
The Management and Leadership Program for Ecclesial Leaders is a joint initiative of the Rectory of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics and aims to develop management and leadership practices in the organisations under the responsibility of the catholic church.

- Leaders of various levels (superiors, bursars, parish priests, administrators and other ecclesial , religious and lay leaders), with management and leadership responsibilities in the various entities under the responsibility of the Catholic Church (Dioceses, Religious Congregations, Parishes, Catholic Schools, IPSS's and similar institutions, mercies and other ecclesial structures);
- Candidates for the functions of directing ecclesial or equivalent structures.
Objectives:
Develop the leaders management capacity, reinforcing their rigor and professionalism.
Provide an applied perspective of the management and leadership tools to the specific reality of ecclesial organisations.
To stimulate the entrepreneurial and innovative attitude to creat new projects and making better use of new communication technologies.
Improve effectiveness in leadership of work teams, including how the mission and objectives are defined, the resources organization and the evaluation of results.
Provide practical tools to manage teams' performance, motivation and satisfaction of their elements, in the context of volunteering.
