Upper Side - Career Management & Advisory provides highly specialized career management and advisory services, especially for managers (young managers, qualified specialists with ambitions to rise to management positions, middle managers, directors and executives) who wish to maximize their professional success and effectiveness, throughout their career cycle.
More recently, we have launched two new units, the first aimed at lawyers and jurists and the second at young qualified people in their first years of career (20-29 years old), in this case coming from any academic and/or professional area.
Our Career Advisory services are by definition short-term and oriented towards supporting decision-making on career-related issues.
On the other hand, our Career Management programmes are medium or long-term programmes, with the following objectives
Vocational Area: systemic evaluation of professional paths ("Career Design"), either in a logic of evolutionary continuity or in a logic of career transformation and re-engineering;
or
Market Area: creation of specific literacy, fine-tuning of the fundamental career architecture (vision, identity, value proposition, positioning), significant improvement of the client's effectiveness as a candidate (development of effective communication vehicles, various training courses, etc.) and, finally, accompaniment during the phase of proactive search for a new professional challenge.
Although our natural market is Portugal, we work with professionals who live anywhere in the world and whose professional goals include Portugal and/or abroad.
